*Substage illuminator ML-1. Workable on 220 volts direct. *Warranty Information *2 Years parts. 3 years KEOWA optics. Engineered Precision for Demanding WorkflowsBuilt for both routine and advanced laboratory work, the microscopes heavy-duty mono-block base and powder-coated metal body deliver superior durability and anti-vibration performance. The mechanical stage with X-Y movement and vernier scale facilitates smooth, accurate slide navigation, supporting detailed study and analysis.
Superior Viewing Comfort and FlexibilityThe monocular head is inclined at 45 to reduce neck strain and rotates a full 360, ensuring comfortable viewing from various angles. With wide field 10X eyepieces and achromatic objectives, users experience sharp, distortion-free images up to 1000X magnification, making prolonged observations more efficient and less fatiguing.
Adaptable Lighting for Any SettingThe plano-concave mirror with condenser provides excellent illumination, and optional support for built-in LED or halogen lamps makes this microscope suitable for diverse environmentseven where electrical supply varies (110/220V compatibility). This ensures consistent imaging whether in research labs, clinics, or educational institutions.
FAQs of Senior Laboratory & Medical Microscope:
Q: How do you adjust stage movement for precise slide positioning on this microscope?
A: The microscope features an X-Y movement stage with a vernier scale, enabling users to maneuver slides smoothly and position them accurately for detailed observations. The mechanical controls allow for minute adjustments, ensuring that the area of interest always remains centered in the field of view.
Q: What makes this microscope suitable for laboratory and medical applications?
A: Its anti-vibration heavy metal base, precise coarse and fine focusing mechanism, and achromatic objective lenses enable reliable, high-resolution observations required in both teaching and advanced clinical diagnostics. The dust cover, spare bulb/mirror, and robust construction further support demanding laboratory environments.
Q: When should you use built-in LED/halogen illumination versus the mirror?
A: Use the built-in LED or halogen lighting when consistent bright illumination is needed or in low-light conditions. The plano-concave mirror is ideal when working near strong external light sources or when power supply is unavailable, offering flexible illumination for various laboratory scenarios.
Q: Where can this microscope be effectively utilized?
A: This device is ideal for laboratories, hospitals, research institutions, and educational facilities in India and internationally. Its sturdy construction and adaptability make it well-suited for both routine analysis and advanced investigative work.
Q: What is the process for focusing on specimens with this microscope?
A: Begin by selecting a lower magnification objective and using the coarse adjustment knob for general focus. Then, switch to higher objective lenses and use the fine adjustment knob (0.002 mm precision) for sharp, detailed imaging. The inclined monocular head ensures comfortable, precise focusing during extended use.
Q: How does the microscope benefit users in terms of durability and hygiene?
A: With a powder-coated metal body, anti-fungal optical elements, and supplied dust cover, the microscope resists wear and contamination. This enhances its longevity and maintains optical clarity, benefiting users over extended periods of laboratory work.
