About Diode Laser Diffraction

To study the diffraction of light by single slit, double slit, multiple slit, cross wire, wire mesh, pinhole, grid and to measure intensity distribution and slit width. The complete setup should include

1. Diode laser : Wavength: 635 mm.

2. Photo detector:  Silicon photocell, Aperture: at least 1 mm, rod.

3. Multimeter.

4. Optical bench:  length not less than 1 meter with 4 point levelling screw.

5. Slider (Transversal) with least count 0.01 mm.

6. Fixed Slider.

7.  Connecting leads:  Banana plug

8. Screen: Transluscent of size 150x150mm

9. Diffraction slides: Frame size: 50x50mm,Slit: separation of 0.20mm and width 0.06 mm, Grating:     50lines/mm, 80 lines/mm, 300 lines/mm, 3000 lines/mm
