Product Description

The apparatus consists of acontainer containing distilled water. The heating surface is in theform of a Nichrome heater wire completelysubmerged in the water. There is another heater submergedin the water to initially heat the waterup to the required temperature to study the critical heat fluxphenomenonatvariousbulktemperatures.Thetemperatureofthewaterinthecontainerismeasuredwiththehelp of a temp sensor. Electrical supplyto the test heating wire is given through a dimmer stat. And thepowerinputismeasured withthe helpof avoltmeter andanammeter.
