About Centrifugal Blower Test Rig

The apparatus consists of a spiral casing, which houses an impeller. An impeller is driven by a variable speed D.C. motor. Three, interchangeable impellers, viz. Radial forward and Backward curved vanes are provided with the unit. Digital indicators are provided for the speed of the impeller. A venture provided measures with the discharge. Thus students can evaluate the performance of different impellers at various speeds.
